I am so glad you are here

I'm Diana, an MA, Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) counselling therapist. I own and operate my private therapy practice based in Langley, B.C. offering online and phone counselling for clients in the lower mainland and across BC. I enjoy working with women, teens, adults, seniors and couples.

I am a person who excels at helping people understand themselves better, resolve their feelings and repair and heal from the effects of trauma. I am a warm and caring person who enjoys this career field immensely as it offers me a chance to truly connect and assist clients in achieving their goals and hopes for their lives. 

I offer a free 30 minute consultation so that prospective clients and I can speak, ask each other questions and get a feel to see if we are a good fit to work together.

 Using a variety of approaches I help facilitate healing from relationships, events and trauma as well as grief and brain trauma.

-identifying and understanding self and your story

-work stress and burnout effects

-helping to have comfort and confidence in boundaries

-teenage anxiety and understanding of self/gaining tools and resources to help self manage tough times and pressures. 

-perimenopausal adjustments and understanding/managing the symptoms and the effects

-Menonpause and the shifts that can come both mentally and physically that can be jarring and uncomfortable creating a sense of feeling foreign to yourself. Reconnecting to yourself and your inner voice. Managing the symptoms and growing confidence in ability to connect and understand/anticipate your needs and know how to help yourself to feel more like you. 

I utilize Psychotherapy and Brainspotting which can both be an amazing tool for assisting in personal growth and shifting maladaptive behaviours and patterns held by trauma. The approaches I use are multi faceted and integrated ways of working with the body and brain.

I am also a Brainspotting practitioner (BSP) which assists in processing and releasing memories and other problematic symptoms. This can be a more gentle approach to processing trauma as well which can be preferred when psychotherapy is too activating for a client. Brainspotting is also used to enhance performance and athletic performance and increase one's sense of connection. Working together we can find ways of helping you strengthen your foundation, resources and increase your overall resilience.  

I especially enjoy helping women and teens identify their own voices and learn to really tune into their own needs and wants. I am passionate about helping them to understand the issues that are causing them to lack happiness, feelings of sadness, anxiety, and stress. One of the best things I get to do is to help them find ways to create calm in their lives, use and set boundaries and how to preserve their peace going forward and how the information learned can lead to such a different outlook.
